JPS Health Network is Tarrant County’s publicly supported healthcare system. With roots dating back to 1906 as a city/county emergency hospital, JPS has grown to an expansive network of healthcare services that include 578 licensed acute-care beds, 30 primary and specialty care health centers, 19 school-based health centers, the county’s only psychiatric emergency center and the county’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. With more than 6,700 team members, the network is in the Top Ten of the county’s largest employers as well as the community’s largest teaching hospital.
